The 1972 Corvette Coupe:

This is the last year of the chrome bumper C-3 Corvette "Sharks."  Highly sought after as a result, with C-3 prices recently rising. This coupe has the removable T-tops and removable rear window.

This one is superfly cool in its original '72 color Elkhart Green with Saddle interior.

Frame-on repainted correctly in factory color five years ago - the car shines beautifully - cool green when sitting in the shade with gold-ish metallic flakes sparkling in the sun. Original trim tags indicating color 946 for Elkhart Green and 417 for Saddle vinyl for factory color match. The frame is straight with no structural damage. The bird cage is very clean with no rust - underneath the car is as clean as the top.

The interior has new seat covers in the correct saddle vinyl by Al Knoch with brand new driver's side and passenger side carpets, as well as restored door sills - the interior shows beautifully! All gauges work correctly, as do the factory AM/FM radio,  headlights and wiper doors; with recent vacuum regulators installed.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about this car is the way it drives - tight, crisp and without any rattles, squeaks or unusual noises. With four brand new stainless steel brake calipers, brake lines, brake pads and hi-temp brake fluid, the car stops extremely well and true. The emergency brake set up has been renewed with new pads, cables and hardware and operates as it should.  Best of all, the original matching number factory motor was rebuilt in 2003 with stronger internals, roller rockers, new HEI distributor with factory tach drive, new spark plugs and wires, new Edelbrock semi hi-rise intake manifold and new Edelbrock carburetor. Exhausting the motor's gasses through tubular headers and then into a factory original style stainless steel dual exhaust - exiting the rear with the rectangular factory exhaust tips. The car has a 4:11 rear and a new Hurst shifter with the factory look T-handle shifter.

It's 1972 all over again - but better! This car drives like a new car - but stronger!

The car comes with extensive documentation; receipts for the engine rebuild, strong dyno test results of the rebuilt drivetrain, the original tank sticker and best of all a complete documentation of it's ownership history from new, evidenced by a copy of EACH owner's DMV record. This level of documentation is every classic Corvette owner's dream!

Check out the photos above - but we encourage you to come take a look, take a drive and tell us what you think.
